Stealing (and stealing from) vehicles, dalmatians and a young thief were included in the Hutchinson Police’s case log Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.
In the last 24 hours, police responded to two car thefts and three calls for burglarized vehicles. The car thefts were a 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue and a 1979 Chevy shortbed truck. Items stolen from the vehicles included a radiator, a Kansas license plate and a brake light.
Forget the friendly dalmatians of Disney. Tuesday night, a 29-year-old male called the police for two dalmatians running at him in an aggressive manger at a residence in the 900 block of East Sherman Avenue.
An employee of Claire’s got the police involved in the case of two stolen necklaces Tuesday afternoon. The reported age of the female burglar was 9 years old.
So far, police officers have made no arrests in these cases.
